My name is Melanie and I am 5 year old Pug/Doxie mix.  My former owner passed away and I spent 6 weeks in an animal shelter before I joined Safe Haven Rescue.  My new foster mom thinks I am very cute and cuddly since I only weight 9 lbs.  I love to go on walks and my foster mom likes the way I beg for my treats. I get along with other dogs and like to sit on your lap.  I am current on all my vaccinations.  As you can see I am irresistible with my big brown eyes and would make someone a great companion.  If you would like more information, please contact my foster mom, Rachel at 219-308-4168.

Melanie's adoption fee is $150. All our furbabies are fully vetted including, but not limited to, spay/neutering and vaccinations, before they are adopted. These fees help to cover our costs.
