Update: 1/30/10--
Lily has successfully completed her heartworm treatment and has been spayed. She is now available for adoption She is an alpha female and needs to be adopted into a home with no other dogs or dogs that are not alpha.
Meet Lily Rose, a jack russell terrier mix. Lily is 2 years old and 15 pounds. Unfortunately her former owners did not care for her needs very well, then they dumped her at a dog pound. She had a terrible flea infestation and is heart worm positive. She is being fostered by a family with children, another dog, and a cat. She gets along well with all of them. She is shy at first, but comes around quickly. She loves to play fetch with toys, and Lily responds wonderfully to being petted and held. She will reward you with doggie kisses. She has a sweet, gentle nature that will melt your heart. Lily will be ready for adoption in a couple of months, after the heart worm treatment, and a spay. Please consider giving Lily a home where she can be loved and cared for forever. For more information, contact Fran R. at (219)929-6549 or ranger.david.fran@verizon.net.
Lily Rose's adoption fee is $225. All our furbabies are fully vetted including, but not limited to, spay/neutering and vaccinations, before they are adopted. These fees help to cover our costs.
