My name is Skippy.I am a Chihuahua mix.  I weigh approximately 7 pounds and am approximately 1 year old.   I was found by animal control tied to the fence when they came to work one morning.  Apparently my family no longer wanted me.  Animal Control then called Safe Haven Rescue to find me my forever home, and that’s how I came to be in rescue.

 

I get along pretty well with all the other doggies here and I love to run and play outdoors.

I’m a little scarred of people so you have to approach me slowly.  I have never bitten anyone here, but I do try to run away if you move too fast around me.  My mom says that given a little time and a lot of love and attention, I’ll get over being afraid of everyone. I do love to sit in my mom’s lap while she’s watching TV and I love to sleep at the foot of her bed at night.

This dog's adoption fee is $250. All our furbabies are fully vetted including, but not limited to, spay/neutering and vaccinations, before they are adopted. These fees help to cover our costs.
